Term 3 & 4
Business is Booming, the grade 5/6 creativity and diversity unit for terms 3 and 4, is well underway. During term 3 students are learning the ins and outs of creating a successful business. This includes the use of market research, the physical requirements required for a business, the creation of a competitive edge, forming a company profile, creating a budget and advertising the business. Two teams of 5/6 students will be creating rival businesses in term 3 with a special reward for the team that is judged the most successful at the end of the term.
In term 4 pairs of students will use the knowledge learned in term 3 to create their own business from the ground up. The 5/6 teachers are anticipating the creation of some excellent enterprises from our budding entrepreneurs.
